Joe and I started jamming and recording together probably around summer of '95 as Bloody Nose. Then his mom got him a 4-track for Christmas. This was still before we'd started No Consensus. The switch to 4-track opened up new possibilities and gave us a new style which we felt warranted a new name.

The original The Bible Tapes was a 90-minute cassette. Some of the less interesting tracks were trimmed out to make the album fit on CD-R. This is that version. The tracks we got rid of you might eventually be able to find elsewhere.
